    Amina Derbi is an Executive Analyst for the Advancing Education in Muslim Societies (AEMS) program at the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT). She hosts and produces, Third Space Thoughts to Policy, the official podcast of IIIT which is available on Apple podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Play, CastBox, Messy.FM, and Podcast Mirror. It was named a Top & Trending Show on Messy.FM twice in the month of May 2019, after first launching in Fall 2018. Amina studied Global Affairs at George Mason University (GMU), completing her BA early in 2012 and Accelerated MA in 2014. Previously, she was an Import Policy Analyst at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of Policy within the International Trade Administration’s Enforcement and Compliance division.
